These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Deventura's developer performance platform and related services. Please read these terms carefully before using our service.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Deventura's services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service, including but not limited to developers, engineering managers, and administrative users.
2. Description of Service
Deventura provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that analyzes developer performance through automated assessment of code contributions and provides insights, analytics, and coaching recommendations.
Service Features Include:
- Automated performance scoring and analysis
- Individual and team performance reports
- AI-powered coaching recommendations
- Integration with GitHub and GitLab repositories
- Performance trend tracking and analytics
- Team collaboration and management tools
3. User Accounts and Registration
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service:
- For any unlawful purpose or to solicit unlawful activity
- To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations or laws
- To transmit or procure the sending of advertising or promotional material
- To impersonate or attempt to impersonate the Company, employees, or other users
- To interfere with or circumvent security features of the Service
- To introduce viruses, malware, or other malicious code
5. Data and Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information in connection with the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement. By using the Service, you consent to such collection and use.
Key Privacy Principles:
- We never store raw source code or code diffs
- Only metadata and performance metrics are retained
- All data is encrypted at rest and in transit
- You retain ownership of your data
- You can request data deletion at any time
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Deventura and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You retain ownership of any data, information, or content you provide to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
7. Subscription and Payment
Billing
Paid services are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service.
Changes to Pricing
We may modify our pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice and will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice to users.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Deventura be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will stop immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our data retention policies.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
